Welcome to YoP. These Terms of Service (the "Terms" or "EULA") govern your use of the YoP mobile application and related services (the "Service") provided by YoP ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, signing in, or using YoP, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use YoP. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If we learn that someone under 17 has created an account, we will terminate it.

2. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

You agree not to post, share, or transmit any content that:

• Is hateful, racist, harassing, bullying, or threatens or targets any person or group;
• Is pornographic, sexually explicit, or depicts nudity, sexual conduct, or child sexual abuse material;
• Promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous activities;
• Promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, or the sale of illegal goods or services;
• Infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, spam, or impersonates another person;
• Contains malware, exploits, or attempts to interfere with the Service.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create on YoP. By posting content, you grant YoP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you post and the consequences of posting it.

4. Moderation, reporting, blocking, and hiding

YoP enforces community standards through a combination of automated and human moderation. You can use the in-app tools to manage your experience:

• Report — flag a post that violates these Terms. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; offending content is removed and offending accounts are suspended or terminated.
• Hide — immediately remove a post from your feed without filing a report.
• Block — stop seeing posts, votes, or feedback from a specific user. Manage your blocked list under Settings → Blocked Users.

You can also email support@yopapp.store to report inappropriate activity directly to our team.

5. Account and security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@yopapp.store if you suspect unauthorized use.

6. Account termination and deletion

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or if termination is necessary to protect the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, posts, and personal activity; votes you cast on other users' posts are anonymized so other users' tallies remain accurate.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service;
• Access the Service using automated means (bots, scrapers) without our written permission;
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or any user's enjoyment of it;
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. YoP does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content posted by other users is accurate, safe, or appropriate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YoP and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless YoP and its affiliates from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, ask you to re-accept the Terms inside the app before continuing. Your continued use of YoP after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and YoP agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, for any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, except where local law gives you a non-waivable right to bring claims in your local courts.
